So a tidy up is needed now. Here are some pointers for the shed space you desire.
Any space on the walls of you shed should be perfect for shelving .Make them work for you by organising them in order .
Have everyday tools in middle shelves for easy reach. And buly items eg tins of paint etc on lower shelves.
heavy, bulky items at floor level to avoid nasty accidents. Anything seasonal or rarely used can be stowed up top.
Repurpose old furniture
If you have any old cupboards eg medicine cabinets or small cupboards ,these are perfect for storage space in your shed .They can developed into cabinets
for tools ,odds and bobs, seeds etc
Don't let spades, forks, brooms and hoes get the better of you. Get all your long-handled tools properly organised within tidy shovel rack.
You'll be able to see what's what, and free up more precious space. You could custom build one from an old pallet and then fix it to the wall.
Hooks on Walls
For smaller tools like trowels and secateurs, hooks are a their best friend.S-hooks are fairly inexpensive and easy to fix.
Use the ceiling
The ceiling makes a perfect place to hang your bikes from.
Classic tool wall
Some shed afficianados love the classic tool wall. The tool wall has a place for each tool .Before you create your wall arrange your tools on the floor or workbench
,to see where they are best suited to be placed.Once happy draw with a pencil or marker in situ, round your tools roughly .This will leave a silhouette .You can then
go ahead and build your own tool mosaic.Reminding you where each tool lives.
Hang your hose
No matter how adept you are at coiling your hose ,it seems to have an uncanny habit of untangling itself. This challenge has a solution with a hose hanger.
Any wall-mounted cylinder will do .Even an old car wheel or bucket. The latter allows you to store things in the middle of it .
So there you are .A tidy shed results in a tidy garden .Bingo.
